There are those who claim that our boat builders have salt water in their veins, even though we build our yachts in the heart of Germany. Some say our engineers and designers may have re-invented the "Made in Germany" for yacht building. Be that as it may - here at BAVARIA it is our pride to build yachts of the highest quality for the whole world in the most modern sailing and motor yacht shipyard in Germany.

BAVARIA-Yachtbau consists of a 200,000 square meters shipyard with a 70,000 square meters production area that includes the lamination halls, a joinery shop, workshops and four production lines, each 125 meters long. Over 1000 sailing yachts and motorboats are manufactured each year.
Now BAVARIA yachts have the full product lines, including sailing yachts from 33 to 65 feet, motorboats from 29 to 55 feet and catamaran from 40 to 55 feet long.

Nautitech Shipyard in France

In 2014, BAVARIA acquired the famous catamaran brand of Nautitech, which is a French brand and located in Rochefort. The virtues of these two manufacturers may seem very different at first glance, but examined more closely, they prove to be the essential basis of the partnership. Both shipyards are driven by design and craftsmanship, and have played a part in the constant evolution of their market segments.

NAUTITECH was founded in 1994. A significant innovation of NAUTITECH was the early conversion to the most modern infusion technology, which resulted in a significant improvement in the stability and reinforcement, along with a simultaneous reduction in weight. Today, modern catamarans characterized by maximum comfort and quality are manufactured in Rochefort. The interiors and the furniture are, in fact, from Giebelstadt and are fit into the hulls in Rochefort.

Among the latest developments in BAVARIA CATAMARANS are the NAUTITECH 40 OPEN and the models NAUTITECH 46 OPEN and FLY, which were developed in collaboration with Marc Lombard, the specialist in serial production. Like other NAUTITECH models from the current range of BAVARIA CATAMARAN models, the innovative space utilization concepts have been integrated into the new catamarans, creating excellent comfort, premium product quality as well as speed and safety as the salient sailing features.
